HANA was born from the simple idea of centering women, specifically to amplify women owned businesses, and to showcase the imaginative design and manual skills women have. At HANA, functional art is chosen to style the home over mass-produced goods - pieces that tell a story, spark the customer’s creativity, and serve as heirlooms to pass from generation to generation.

HANA embarked on a comprehensive branding journey with Clarity to establish a distinct identity that aligns with its goals and business ideals.

With Clarity’s branding strategy, HANA refined its purpose and values, outlined its target market, solidified its market position, and created a tagline.

Collaborating with our talented designer, Sadie Schmunk, Clarity developed a brand identity that resonated with its target audience. The brand's hand-drawn logo, color palette, and typography were carefully designed to reflect HANA’s organic, handmade, yet elevated vibes. The branding is strong and confident, but soft and refined, showcasing the duality of societal expectations of women.

Clarity is in the process of building an e-commerce Shopify site for HANA, prioritizing and optimizing for both customers and artist collaborators. Stay tuned for HANA’s September 2024 launch!
