Washington State’s paid sick leave initiative, I-1433, will go into effect on January 1, 2018.  While this initiative covers new minimum wage rates for future years and important language regarding tips and service charges, most of the initiative revolves around the new requirement of Washington State employers to provide paid sick leave to employees.
